Yes folks, it's that time of year again!
Ah! It is that time of year again where the excitment of AWA hits and the craziness of sewing like a mad woman begins. I have so good ones for this year. First we have Cely-chan's cosplys: A kimono loli from Drama-Con (manga) that has been nick-named "the pink nightmare", but it is going to look good when done. All I have left is the obi and little hat to sew. Another Drama-Con loli dress that Bethany wears that is going to be purple (still waiting on the fabric of that one). And last, but CERTAINLY not least, Cely-chan is doing the Cyberpunk Ball in a gorgeous red dress with a black shoulder jacket with cyberpunk jewelry that we are making ourselves. Now M-chan's cosplays: First is another Drama-Con loli dress that we are doing in a mottled grey fabric with black lace and a burgandy ribbon with cat ears (beware she will be camera happy). The other one I am doing for her is her Ball attire. She will be dressed in a fine white (slightly frilly) shirt with a brocade laced up vest with tails (think captain of a sky pirate ship), also with steampunk jewelry. And last we have my coplays: I am aslo doing a loli outfit from Drama-Con, but it is going to be Chrstie's loli that she wears on the cover of book 3 in the manga. She has a pretty white top with a pink (slightly pleated) skirt and a red vest that has a pink collar taht is all trimed with lace. And the other one I am sewing this year is my Cyberpunk Ball gown. I am doing a sleeveless victorian dress with a bustle in a dark green satin with black lace and black satin roses on it. I will be wearing black satin fingerless opera length gloves and a womans's riding top hat that will be adorned with black and green ribbon, a black bow with a green and pewter camio, and a black fluffy feather. I will also be doing my on cyberpunk jewelry for this outfit. We will be wearing other cosplays at AWA, these are just the ones that I am sewing this year. Well, that's all for now, I will try to update how they are coming along as I go along.
