How things are on the other side
So, as it has been told, I am on vacation for two weeks. My little man and I have flown out to Salt Lake to visit his grandpa (my dad) and so far are having a good time. It is so nice to not have to go to work and to relax, which it seems I really needed. Our flight was good, but made a long day. Our first day here, we went to Antelope Island and saw some white tail deer, antelope and actually a lot of buffalo. We even had one bull cross the road right in front of us. Then we went to Red Robin for lunch, which was good. After that we went to go see Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. REALLY good! After that on the way home we saw an Oban festival at a Buddist church and went in because it was open tothe public. It was sooo coool. We had teriyaki bowls and watched dancing, but the best was the tieko drumming. Then we went home and crashed. Our second day we went glow-in-the-dark miniture golfing, which was fun and little mans first time mini golfing at all. He got 79 for his first time, which is good for his first game ever. I actually won with a 51 score, which is under par as well. We then went to go see Transformers, which have seen before, but little man had not nor had my dad. It is ctill cool to watch it a second time (we are sooo buying it when it comes out on video). We then went home to veg and relax. Well, that is about it for now. Will keep you guys updated.
